"I Can't, I Have REHEARSAL"
We lost a very influential composer this past month. We were thinking of releasing this in January, but we agreed that maybe it was time to do so now.
This design, which we have been holding onto since the beginning of this Ghostlight Graphics journey this past year, was first awaiting the re-opening of broadway. But somehow now it came to have a new meaning. Jason, our founder and co-owner, has performed and directed so many of Sondhiem’s productions over the years in his theatre community in Wilmington, NC. So this “I Can’t I Have Rehearsal” is not a cliche for us. Not now. It’s about showing up, getting to work, creating something beautiful with your fellow artists.
So Directors, Playwrights, Scenic designers, Lighting designers, Costumers, Sound designers, Composers, Choreographers, Actors, Dancers, Stage Managers, Production Assistants -whether you’re on broadway or in a small-town drama program, we see you! Thank you for your artistry. Keep putting it together! We made this just for you.
“Putting it together, that's what counts!
Ounce by ounce, putting in together
Small amounts, adding up to make a work of art
First of all you need a good foundation
Otherwise it's risky from the start
Takes a little cocktail conversation
But without the proper preparation
Having just a vision's no solution
Everything depends on execution
THE ART OF MAKING ART
Is putting it together, bit by bit!”
